Theresa is an expert in digital health, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship. She accumulated her expertise during her time as a management consultant for Roland Berger, one of the top firms in the industry. There, she advised European financial services players on the uses of AI-driven technologies for strategic goals. As part of the renowned talent investor Entrepreneur First, Theresa started a company in the field of biotechnology in the UK, spearheading the process of bringing a physical product to the market. Since then, she mentored numerous startups, focusing primarily on strategic and data-driven matters. Theresa is an active mentor at the F10 Incubator and Accelerator in Zurich and at Tomahawk VC. She has been actively investing in startups for 5+ years, focusing on software driven companies in digital healthcare and financial services. Theresa received her PhD at ETH Zurich, the world-leading technical university ETH in Switzerland, focusing on conversational artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction with a special emphasis on digital healthcare applications. She further holds a Masters in Cognitive Science with a specialisation in decision-making from the University of Vienna in Austria and two bachelor degrees in natural science and the humanities.
